  1. The Committee reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate and split classes if necessary.

  2. Correctly secured riding hats/skull caps which are approved BSI standards MUST be worn when mounted.

  3. Stallions/colts may not be led by any Junior who has not attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

  4. All animals must be sound. If in the opinion of the judge an animal is considered to be unsound it will be asked to leave the ring.

  5. The judge may order that a horse or pony that constitutes a danger must leave the ring.

  6. No person shall ill-treat animals at any time.

  7. The JUDGES decision is FINAL.

  8. No competitors shall enter under a Judge who has owned, sold or received

    financial gain from that horse/pony.

  9. The Committee or any of its assistants are in no way responsible for any loss,

    damage or injury that may happen to exhibitors or their assistants, nor any

    member of the public or to any animal, vehicle brought onto the showground.

  10. Objections must be made in writing with £10 to Secretary within 1⁄2 hour. The money will be returned if the objection is sustained.

  11. Cups and trophies are perpetual and it is up to the competitor to ensure their safe return to the Light Horse Secretary 4 weeks prior to the next year’s Show. Cups and trophies are to be engraved at the winner’s own expense.

  12. Foul language or abusive behaviour will NOT be tolerated towards other people or animals and persons responsible will be asked to leave the Showground.

  13. Competitors to take home any rubbish and no skipping out of lorries on the

    showground

  14. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times. Owners MUST clean up after their dogs.

  15. First Aid cover will be available for the duration of the show.

  16. No farrier will be available.

  17. Acceptance of the foregoing provisions will be a condition of entry.
