This show is a qualifier for the 2026 West of Scotland Working Hunter Academy Extravaganza Show to be held at Muirmill Equestrian Centre on 19th September. The 1st and 2nd prize winners will qualify for the Extravaganza Training Stakes Championship sponsored by Fylde Saddlery. If already qualified then qualification will be passed down the line to clear rounds only.
Class 42. Lead Rein/Assisted WHP. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 143cm (14.2hh). Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. The class is open to both plaited and Mountain & Moorland ponies. Maximum height of fences 30cm. Any rider competing in this class may not compete in any other WHP class at the show.
Class 43. Training Stakes 50cm 4 years and over, rider any age. Open to any type animal plaited, unplaited or hogged. Competitors will be required to jump a course of jumps then immediately perform a short show including a change of rein and extension.
Class 44. Training Stakes 60cm 4 years and over, rider any age. Open to any type animal plaited, unplaited or hogged. Competitors will be required to jump a course of jumps then immediately perform a short show including a change of rein and extension.
Class 45. Training Stakes 70cm 4 years and over, rider any age. Open to any type animal plaited, unplaited or hogged. Competitors will be required to jump a course of jumps then immediately perform a short show including a change of rein and extension.
Class 46. Training Stakes 80cm 4 years and over, rider any age. Open to any type animal plaited, unplaited or hogged. Competitors will be required to jump a course of jumps then immediately perform a short show including a change of rein and extension.
